Sunday Afternoon

This is the first time in a long time when we've been able to stay home all day after church. We didn't have any extra meetings to attend or choir practice to conduct. Keagan and Kael both took great naps and Kaleb and Hannah were surprisingly quiet. Scott got out his broken laptop and Kael had a good time playing with it. These days don't happen very often so I was very greatful.

Pinewood Derby

Kalebs pinewood derby was today. We had alot of fun as a family. Kaleb chose the shape and colors of his car and did most of the work. Scott cut out the shape and I put the wheels on. Kaleb won his first two races and didn't mind at all when he lost the others. We were proud of him for being a good sport.

Happy Belated Easter

April Fool's Day Pranks

The kids had a fun surprise in there lunches yesterday. Instead of putting carrots in the chip bags I put cheetos in the doritos bag. I know I would be upset if I got carrots instead of chips. We also made faux pie meatloaf and jello drinks. Can't wait til next years pranks.

Sweetwater Family Resource Center

When I'm not at home doing laundry or at the grocery store you can usually find me working at the Resource Center. I teach parenting and anger management classes and I also work with the youth in the youth accountability/diversion program through probation. I've been working there for about 6 month and love it. It's been a struggle balancing work and being a mom at times but Scott's really taken over with the kids if I can't be there. One good thing is that there's a daycare facility 2 doors down from my office so I can go and visit Kael when I want and at times you can find him crawling around my desk.

Kael's 1st Birthday!

Time sure does fly by. We can't believe our baby is a one year old. He's a sweet little boy who loves hiding in his moms arms. Happy Birthday Thumper!

Easter Egg Hunt at the Rec. Center

Each year the rec. center has an easter egg hunt in the pool for each age group. This year was my turn to go with Keagan. He couldn't wait to get in the water. He was given a few warnings to walk and not run. Kaleb and Hannah both had a basket full of eggs when they went underwater to find more and their eggs escaped.
