About Me

My photo
I enjoy staying at home with my 4 little redheads. I also have a degree in psycology from BUY-Idaho. I like spending time with family and friends. And I would rather be at the beach.

Cobra's

Kalebs soccer team had their team picture in our local paper the Rocket Miner. They had their final game of the season last night and a pizza party to celebrate. He had a great team this year mostly because his friends Austin, Cameron and C.J. where playing with him.

How many marshmallows can you fit in your mouth?

We made rice krispy treats last night and while we were waiting we wanted to see how many marshmallows the kids could fit in their mouth. Kaleb started gagging at 2 and Hannah almost fit a third but Scott ended up having the biggest mouth(big surprise) with 4 marshmallows. How big is your mouth?

Double Knot

Hannah has been practicing tying her shoes this whole summer. She was the only one in her class who still had to ask for help. So today before we left to run errands she showed me her shoes which she had tied by herself with a double knot. She called up her daddy and let him know. They sure grow up fast.

One Happy Baby

Kael is definately our happiest baby. The only time he truly cries is when he is in pain. Like getting his shots at his 4 month checkup last week. He is now 18 pounds and 27 inches long. He may be the tallest Braithwaite yet.

Scott here for a rare appearence on Rachel's blog. We were recently in Rexburg so that I could play paramedic/ firefighter with some good friends. I still run as a paramedic/ firefighter from time to time there. Anyway, as I get back on track, the department unveiled a brand-new ladder truck and I was one of the demonstrators. I make a quick 2-3 second appearance (watch for the red hair) and my hands also make their star debut (yes, they are operating the truck's remote control). Very cool... had to brag.

(To play the video, just click on the video, or click the play button. The music auto playlist also brings a cool soundtrack feel to it as well, but you can also pause the music on its own player if you wish. Thanks so much to Eric Wisner for his assistance... you rock!)

Carousel

The kids went on a ride around the carousel while in Rexburg. A few years ago it was only twenty-five cents and now it's a dollar. It was fun watching them ride around and afterwards they ate cotton candy.

Grandma's Doll House

My mom is having a house built in Rigby and it should be ready by the holidays. She was telling me that it was the size of a doll house and I had to see it to believe it. It's pretty small. Especially with 3 kids running around. She called her builder the next day and made a few adjustment to the house. Regardless of its size it will be a nice place for her to settle and close enough for us to visit. And room enough so she can lock her grandkids up in their own rooms.
