Human Pretzel

Hannah has been attending a gymnatics camp this summer and she's learned how to do a hand stand and the splits. We're always amazed each time she puts her feet behind her head. She'll continue gymnastics this fall it will be her third year.

Can we keep him

The morning of my birthday we found a dog in the yard. Hannah tried to convince me that she had bought him for my birthday. But I knew better. He stayed and played with the kids until the owners came home. I'm guessing he was hungry. Keagan cried but I told him the dog could come and play whenever he wanted.

Happy Birthday!

For my 31st birthday Scott bought me an acoustic guitar. My fingers are already numb from playing. I'm hoping by our 10th anniversary I'll be able to serenade Scott. You can't tell from the picture but the guitars bright red and it's already caught the kids attention.

Playing at the Park

Every week we meet for a playgroup at different parks around the city. The kids get a chance to get their energy out and the moms get to visit. The kids stopped for a few minutes so I could take a quick picture.

Home Construction

On Scott's day off Monday, he replaced the existing iron banister with this new half wall. It took him most of the day and it turned out really nice. Kaleb was his helper most of the time and was really proud of what they accompished. Now he's ready to build Hannahs room later this summer.

Medics in Training

Saturday I took the kids and some friends over to visit Scott at Sweetwater Medics. They had a great time sitting in the ambulances and exploring the garage. I think they all left wanting to be an EMT or a paramedic.

Goofing off in the pool

The highlight of Kaleb and Hannahs summer has been swimming lessons. The big triumph this summer has been seeing them both jump off the diving board and not being afraid of swimming under water.
