Ice Sculptures

Every year for Presidents Day weekent at a local park they have ice sculptures displayed. This year they had an ice slide for the kids to slide down. I even had a turn and nearly fell down. After 15 minutes it was too cold so we headed home.

Riding Scooter at the Skate Park

Today I took the kids to the skate park to ride their scooters. It was pretty windy but the sun was out and the kids were driving me crazy. Scott works a lot of 24-hour shifts at Sweetwater Medics on the weekends to add to our fix the house fund. And things can get pretty overwhelming for both mom and kids. We had a fun time. Even Kael and I had fun riding the scooters around.

Moms New House

We went up to Rexburg to help my mom move into her house in Ribgy. It was exhausting and fun to visit. I let my mom know in ten years or so we'll move down and in with her. Her home is beautiful and she's been waiting a loooooong time for this. And now we can come visit without fitting us and our 4 kids on the fold out couch. Yeah!

And you thought it was cold .....

This was the temperature on the way to visit my mom in Rexburg. It did get in the negative digits but we were too busy yelling at kids to buckle up to take a picture. It does get this cold in Green River. Last winter I remember driving to our recreation center in the morning and it was -9.

Winter Break

After being inside the house for a few days the kids were getting stir crazy and the parents were going crazy also. We took the kids to the park to ride their new scooters and to run off some energy. It was freesing cold but they couldn't tell. Keagan ended up taking his hat,coat and socks off. Luckily we brought plenty of hot cocoa to share.
